DISCIPLESHIP & MINISTRIES
At 242 Church, ministry is not about staying busy. It is about helping people follow Jesus, grow in faith, build authentic relationships, and serve God’s Kingdom with purpose.
Every ministry exists to help people become devoted disciples of Jesus Christ.
MINISTRY PILLARS
HOW WE WALK
& GROW TOGETHER
PRAYER MINISTRY
We are a prayer-fueled church.
Prayer is central to who we are because we believe everything God builds must begin in dependence on Him. Through prayer gatherings, altar ministry, intercession, and personal prayer, we seek God together and make room for His presence.
CONNECT GROUPS
Growing deeper through biblical community.
Connect Groups provide intentional spaces to study God's Word, pray together, build authentic friendships, and walk alongside one another in every season of life.
SERVE TEAM
Every believer has gifts, and every gift matters.
The Serve Team helps people use what God has placed in them to strengthen the church, serve others, and participate in the mission of Jesus.
WORSHIP MINISTRY
Worship at 242 Church is centered on Jesus.
We desire worship that is sincere, Spirit-led, Scripture-shaped, and focused on helping people encounter God. Worship is not performance. It is surrender.
242KIDS & 242YOUTH
We believe the next generation matters deeply to God.
Our heart is to help children and youth know Jesus, understand God's Word, experience His love, and grow in a safe, joyful, faith-filled environment.
