OUR STORY
242 Church exists because we believe the Church belongs to Jesus.
We are a new church in Mira Mesa built on the conviction that God is still transforming lives through His Word, His Spirit, His presence, and His people. Our desire is not to create a better church show—it is to cultivate a Christ-centered community.
Cultivate community where people encounter God personally, grow in spiritual maturity, and walk together as a true family of faith.

Spirit-Filled Living
We desire lives continually surrendered to the Holy Spirit and conformed to Christ, beyond empty activity.
Communion Before Consumerism
Church is never a product to casually consume. It is a genuine family to belong to.
Transformation Before Attendance
We don't aim to fill seats only. We ask God to form disciples who love Jesus with surrendered lives.
